Response by Head of Service: Thank you for your questions, which I have repeated below and answered: 1. Please confirm are there interviews being held for a Teacher in Charge position from September 24 to September 25 on Tuesday? · No there are not interviews for a teacher in charge position. There is a headteacher at the Brecon PRU, and we have interviewed for and appointed a seconded acting headteacher at the Newtown PRU. The secondment period is for 12 months. 2. Will that mean that they will then have a Head; a Deputy Head; a Teacher in charge and a key stage 2 lead for half a dozen children ? · The structure of both North and South PRU will mirror each other with a headteacher, deputy headteacher and a key stage 2 lead. The capacity for both PRU sites is 30 pupils each. 3. How will this integrate with the budget saving of 600k as proposed by the current Cabinet? · As is known, a review of the EOTAS service and PRU provision is taking place and this will inform proposals.
