Response by the Cabinet Member: Diolch yn fawr am eich diddordeb yn y prosiect. Mae’r gwaith atgyweirio a gyflawnwyd eisoes ar Hen Neuadd y Farchnad, Llanidloes, yn atgyweiriadau tebyg am debyg, ac nid oedd gofyn Caniatâd Adeilad Rhestredig ar eu cyfer. Tra roedd y gwaith atgyweirio’n cael ei gyflawni, adnabuwyd gwaith strwythurol, oedd heb ei gynnwys yn y fanyleb wreiddiol. Y gwaith ychwanegol yma sy’n golygu bod angen Caniatâd Adeilad Rhestredig, oherwydd nid atgyweiriadau tebyg am debyg ydynt, ac mae CSP yn cynnig cyflwyno technoleg newydd i’r adeilad er mwyn datrys a gwella sefydlogrwydd strwythurol yr adeilad. Mae cynghorwyr lleol a Chyngor y Dref wedi cael eu hysbysu am hyn. Many thanks for your interest in the project. The repair works that have already been completed on The Old Market Hall in Llanidloes have been like for like repairs which did not require Listed Building Consent. While the repair works were being carried out, structural work was identified, which was not included in the original specification. It is these additional works that require Listed Building Consent as they are not like for like repairs and PCC are proposing that new technology is introduced in the building to resolve and improve the structural stability of the building. This has been communicated to the local councillors and the Town Council.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
