Response by the Cabinet Member: Diolch am eich ymholiad. Fel y gwyddoch, mae gan y Cyngor bortffolio eiddo sylweddol, ac mae angen i ni wneud yn siŵr ein bod yn gwneud y mwyaf o'n hasedau eiddo i sicrhau eu bod yn addas i'r diben, yn bodloni anghenion y gwasanaethau a ddarparwn ac yn diwallu dyheadau strategaethau corfforaethol ac ariannol i’r dyfodol. Nid wyf yn ymwybodol o unrhyw gynlluniau ar hyn o bryd ynglŷn â Depo Kirkhamsfield, fodd bynnag, bydd y Cyngor yn parhau i fonitro ac adolygu ei bortffolio eiddo nawr ac yn y dyfodol, ond hoffwn sicrhau aelodau y bydd unrhyw newidiadau sy’n cael eu cynnig o fewn ein portffolio eiddo yn amodol ar brosesau a phrotocolau penderfyniadau democrataidd angenrheidiol y Cyngor. Thank you for your query. As you are aware the Council has a significant property portfolio, and we need to ensure we maximise our property assets to ensure they are fit for purpose, meet the needs of the services that we provide and will meet the future aspirations within the corporate and financial strategies. There are no immediate plans regarding Kirkamsfield Depot that I am aware of however, the Council will rightly continue to monitor and review its property portfolio both now and in the future, but may I assure members, that any changes that may be proposed within our property portfolio are subject to the democratic decision making processes and protocols required by the Council.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
