Glan Bran Arms, Cynghordy, Llandovery, SA20 0LG

Installing an outside tap in the breeze block wall of the attached barn next to the EV charging point. The tap will connect through the breeze block wall from the existing water pipe in the attached barn. (see Appendix 1, photos 1 and 2; Appendix 2: floor plan, and Appendix 3: Elevations point 1). Reinstating the kitchen in the curved room at the front left of the house (currently a reception room). A hole through an internal wall will be required for water in and out for the sink and dishwasher (see Appendix 1: photos 3 and 4). This hole will be placed next to the existing radiator pipes to preserve the aesthetics of the room. The water out will connect to the nearest drain within the toilet block floor. This requires a shallow trench in the toilet block floor (has modern tiles) (see Appendix 1: photo 5 and Appendix 2: floor plan). This pipe work does not alter any of the front, side or rear elevation of the house, as it will connect to the toilet block drains

Have your say

This application is waiting for a decision, so you can still comment. Say whether you support or object, and why, sticking to planning matters. Comments go to the council and are usually published.

Only planning matters count in a decision: things like the look of a building, traffic, noise, overlooking, loss of light, and the council's local development plan. A fall in the value of a neighbouring home doesn't count, nor does who the applicant is.

Comment on the council's website

Where it has got to

  1. Application received

    Done

The council checks the application is complete and gives it a reference number.

  2. Consultation

    Now

The council tells neighbours and others, usually with a site notice or letters. Anyone can comment, usually within 21 days.

  3. Decision

    To come

Most applications are decided by the council's planning officers. Larger or disputed ones go to the planning committee, where councillors decide in public.

  4. After the decision

    To come

If permission is refused, the applicant can appeal to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales. Other people can't appeal, but can comment on an appeal.
