Moved by Councillor Tim Evans; Seconded by Councillor John Cole RESOLVED That the Minutes of the meeting held on 5 October 2022 be approved subject to the following amendment: A correction was requested referring to Minute 16 of the meeting held on 5 October 2022 to amend the Decision to read ‘The Sub-Committee has considered all representations it has heard today. The Sub-Committee must decide whether the applicant is a “fit and proper” person to have a combined hackney carriage/private driver’s licence.’
Moved by Councillor Tim Evans; Seconded by Councillor John Cole RESOLVED That in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the Meeting for consideration for the current item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information under Schedule 12A to the Act.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
