Councillor Fouweather asked: Can the cabinet member update me on the current situation with the LDP? Is the land at Allt-yr-yn still under consideration as a possible site for new housing? Councillor Adan responded: It is our intention to seek Council approval to undertake public consultation on the Deposit Plan in Q4 of 2025/26. The land in question has been proposed as a Candidate Site by the site promoter. All sites submitted to the Council for consideration are assessed as part of the local development plan. The public consultation on the Deposit Plan will run for a minimum of 6 weeks.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
