There is no summary of this meeting yet. One is written once the council publishes the minutes. The agenda and papers are below.
Councillor Fouweather asked: How many vehicles are there in the current council fleet? How many of those vehicles are ULEV compliant. Councillor R Howells responded: The emissions standards for public sector vehicles apply at point of purchase. With the targets for cars and light vans being 2025 and for heavy vehicles being 2030. Currently there are 204 vehicles in the Council fleet, of which, 109 are Electric. We replace vehicles when they are the end of their economic life. The vehicles we have purchased so far have resulted in a 44% reduction in fuel usage compared to baseline, we have also increased this saving through co-location of solar generation.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
