Councillor Evans asked: Can the Leader of the Council tell me how much money the Council spent on agency staff in the last financial year. Can this be broken down into Educational spend, and other departments? Councillor Batrouni responded: Agency spend in 2024/25 was: Schools £10.331k Non schools £8.659k Included in agency expenditure for non-schools are the costs associated with additional support needs for looked after children. Following the introduction of a new agency contract, we continue to work to further improve efficiency in managing this expenditure.
