RESOLVED: That Application No: P2025/0604 – Uphill House, Resolven, Neath, SA11 4EF, be Approved, and delegated authority be granted to Planning Officers to apply any conditions to the Application as necessary.
Officers made a presentation to the Planning Committee as detailed in the circulated report on Application No P2025/0604 (Construction of first-floor extension, at Uphill House, Resolven, Neath, SA11 4EF). The Local Ward Member (Cllr Dean Lewis) was to present to speak in favour of the Application. The Planning Committee felt the host dwelling was situated in an isolated location, and as such did not form part of any particular streetscene or character. Members also felt that the proposed extension would not give rise to excessive scale and massing of the property. The Committee voted against the Officers recommendation for Refusal, as detailed within the circulated report. A further vote was taken whereby the Committee voted in favour of Approving Application No: P2025/0604, as well as delegating authority to Planning Officers to apply any conditions to the Application as necessary. RESOLVED: That Application No: P2025/0604 – Uphill House, Resolven, Neath, SA11 4EF, be Approved, and delegated authority be granted to Planning Officers to apply any conditions to the Application as necessary.
