The Overview & Scrutiny Facilitator presented the report (agenda item 5) to enable the Committee to consider the current Forward Work Programme (FWP) and Action Tracking progress. Councillor Selvester referred to his previous request for information on why housing applications had been cancelled or suspended and the response he had received that the information could not be provided. He outlined why he felt that this information would be helpful and asked again that this information be provided. Housing & Prevention Service Manager responded that this request had been raised with the IT provider who had responded that this currently could not be provided. To enable this information to be collated this would require an enhancement to the system at an additional cost. She said that she would explore the cost of this enhancement to understand whether this cost was reasonable. In response to a suggestion from the Chair, the Housing & Prevention Service Manager agreed to meet with Councillor Selvester following the meeting. Councillor Claydon asked that the following items be added to the FWP for consideration at a future meeting:- • Update on the delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants following the adoption of the revised Disabled Adaptations Policy; and • Report on how the Council were managing housing for people with complex needs. RESOLVED: (a) That the Forward Work Programme be noted; (b) That the Facilitator, in consultation with the Chair of the Committee, be authorised to vary the Forward Work Programme between meetings, as the need arises; and (c) That the Committee notes the progress made in completing the outstanding actions.
