The minutes of the meeting held on 11 February, 2026 were submitted for approval. Councillor Dale Selvester referred to the information provided to the Committee following the meeting around the reasons for suspended applications and questioned whether this information could be compiled. Following a response from the Housing & Prevention Service Manager, that she would look into this as a service improvement for the future, the Chair suggested that the Housing & Prevention Service Manager meet with Councillor Selvester following the meeting in order to better understand what information was being requested and if this could be provided. RESOLVED That the minutes be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

RESOLVED: That the update be noted.
The Housing & Preventions Service Manager provided a monthly update to the Committee on the homelessness statistics across the County including out of County placements as per the report (agenda item 6). In response to concerns raised around the opening hours of Connect Centres and the impact this would have on people wanting to present as homeless in person, it was suggested that information on how many people present as homeless at the Connects Centre be collated and that a request on whether quarterly update reports showing this information, which used to be provided, could be provided again. RESOLVED: That the update be noted.
None.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
