RESOLVED- That the Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee Forward Work Plan be approved, subject to the change highlighted above.
The Scrutiny Support Officer presented the Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee Forward Work Plan (FWP). • A draft FWP for the 2023/2024 municipal year was being drafted with the Chair and Vice-Chair and would be circulated to Committee Members accordingly. Members would have an opportunity to request additional items for consideration in accordance with the Constitution and the completion of a scrutiny topic form, which would then be reviewed by the Chairs and Vice-Chairs using the scrutiny criteria. • In relation to the item on Audit Wales Reports - Social Services, which was due to be presented in June 2023, the Head of Integrated Adult Services had advised that the actions in the Audit Wales reports were assigned to the Regional Partnership Board and Welsh Government respectively to deliver and as such, Conwy County Borough Council did not have any action itself to deliver. As a consequence, a request had been received to remove the item from the FWP and monitor it through partnership working and Audit Wales, with the Head of Service escalating any issues as necessary. RESOLVED- That the Social Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee Forward Work Plan be approved, subject to the change highlighted above.

Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
