In scrutinising the report, the following was noted. • Budget pressures in relation to CCTV - in response the PCC acknowledged the invaluable service CCTV provided to communities and partners and was mindful of the budget pressures on both Local Authorities and North Wales Police (NWP). The importance of education, intervention and collaboration with external organisations was highlighted. • The importance of early intervention to try and prevent anti-social behaviour and the trading of substances, engagement with young people, neighbourhood policing and the availability of subtle professional support from partners for families was highlighted. Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
