It was noted that the following had been received by Members prior to the meeting:- • Minutes of the meeting with teachers – 26 September 2025 • WASACRE annual report and treasurer’s report. The School Support Officer stated that following the meeting in the 26 September 2025 she had contacted WASACRE to enquire if it would be possible for the Committee to review their locally agreed syllabus ahead of the 5-year review period. An email was received the 20 of October from Alice Parry and Libby Jones, Secretary and Assistant Secretary of WASACRE. It was therefore necessary to discuss and agree if Members agreed to retain the current syllabus and that direct resources/support separately were provided to Schools. She stated that she had already started to prepare one resource and had shared the document with the teachers who attended the meeting on 26 September 2025 to receive their feedback and to request for any additions that may be missing from the list of resources. Following discussion, it was AGREED to: (i) retain the existing syllabus until 2027; (ii) collate and host resources for teaching the current syllabus in a single central online location for teachers, to reduce the need for individuals to create their own materials.
