Consideration was given to the Report of the Corporate Lead Officer – Economy and Regeneration on the following planning applications which had been considered at a previous meeting and which required further consideration by the Committee:- A230920 Change of use of agricultural field to site 2 shepherds huts and associated works for holiday accommodation. Tanrallt, Talybont To APPROVE the application subject to conditions and a Section 106 tying the shepherds’ huts to Tanrallt. Members did not agree with the recommendation of the Officers and were of the opinion that the application could be approved for the following reasons:- • The application complies with LDP policies DM06 and DM17 • There was less impact on the landscape as the shepherd hut was smaller in scale compared to other tourist accommodation such as static caravans and the approval was restricted to shepherd huts only • That the application could be supported if additional natural screening was provided • The location was the most suitable for the development given that the site itself was low lying and therefore less visually intrusive than the other sites considered ________________________________________________________________
