RESOLVED that the Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO), as set out be approved and tested through due process.
The Cabinet Member considered a report recommending the making of a Definitive Map Modification Order, under Section 53(3)(c)(i) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The proposed Order seeked to add a public footpath between Ffordd y Wagen/Tramway Lane, Pwll, and the B4311 roundabout adjacent to the electricity sub-station. It was noted that objections and representations had been received from affected landowners. In response, an independent public rights of way specialist consultant was appointed to undertake an investigation of the application and to assess all relevant evidence in accordance with the statutory legal tests. The Consultant concluded that the relevant legal tests were met and that an Order should be made. RESOLVED that the Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO), as set out be approved and tested through due process.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
