Cardiff Capital Region Investment Zone and scrutiny inquiry response
Cabinet noted progress on the Investment Zone. It delegated authority to the Director of Development & Growth, after consulting the Cabinet Member for Investment, Employment & Inclusive Growth, the Section 151 Officer and the Monitoring Officer, to finalise and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on retained Non-Domestic Rates (business rates). It approved the response to the Economy & Culture Scrutiny Committee's Place Based Economic Interventions Inquiry. It also delegated authority to the Chief Executive to finalise the Council's participation on the Investment Zone Advisory Board.
How this works
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
